Sale Report - 3rd SA Combined Wiltipoll Breeders Sale - Friday, 24 October 2008

Wonoka were honoured to offer 3 rams and 3 ewes at the 3rd South Australia Combined Breeders Sale held at Mt Pleasant in October 2008.

The sale, which is becoming an annual event, has gone from strength to strength with the quality of stud and registered stock improving every year. The sale was well attended with a high level of interest in the rams offered.

Wonoka received the top ewe price at $700 while Coolamon Park received the top ram price of $1,650.  Lower prices at this year’s sale were a reflection of the season, rather than the quality of the stock, providing excellent buying opportunities for bidders.

Sale Report - Multi Vendor Sale - 22 February 2008

Thank you to everyone who supported the multi-vendor sale at Mt Pleasant on Friday, 22 February 2008.

Despite cool and very windy conditions, the sale was very encouraging. Wonoka cleared all of their Wiltipoll stock and the overall clearance rate for the sale was 80%.

SA Combined Wiltipoll Breeders Sale - 26 October 2007

Sale Report - On Property Sale - 17 February 2006

Thanks to Lloyd Slape of Hillview, Keith, for hosting our first ever sale – also the first ever auction of Wiltshire Horns and Wiltipolls in Australia.
We enjoyed the day and meeting those who attended (approximately 150). 30 rams were sold at an average of $905 each, up to $2,600. 133 ewes were sold at an average of $299 each, up to $600. Thanks also to Landmark, in particular Malcolm Scroop and the Keith office, for their excellent service and support; as well as the Keith Uniting Church for putting on a fabulous lunch and the many family and friends who also helped out.
