Sale Report - 3rd SA Combined Wiltipoll Breeders Sale - Friday, 24 October 2008

Wonoka were honoured to offer 3 rams and 3 ewes at the 3rd South Australia Combined Breeders Sale held at Mt Pleasant in October 2008.

The sale, which is becoming an annual event, has gone from strength to strength with the quality of stud and registered stock improving every year. The sale was well attended with a high level of interest in the rams offered.

Wonoka received the top ewe price at $700 while Coolamon Park received the top ram price of $1,650.  Lower prices at this year’s sale were a reflection of the season, rather than the quality of the stock, providing excellent buying opportunities for bidders
